TERMS OF SALE AND WARRANTY

Shipping costs arising from the exercise of the right of withdrawal or a return due to an error by the buyer will be borne by the customer. This includes both shipping costs and, where applicable, the cost of collecting the goods.

The buyer has 14 calendar days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, provided that they are a consumer, the product has not been installed or handled beyond what is necessary to check its nature and operation, it remains in its original condition, and it is accompanied by the corresponding invoice or proof of purchase.

If the return results from a shipping error attributable to DESGUACE CORTÉS or a lack of conformity of the product, all transport costs will be covered by DESGUACE CORTÉS.

Used spare parts sold by DESGUACE CORTÉS to consumers come with a minimum statutory warranty of one year, in accordance with Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of 16 November, unless a specific provision establishes a different period for a particular product.

For sales to business customers who do not qualify as consumers, the warranty period will be six months, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Electronic control units, electronic modules and, in general, any electronic component whose operation could be affected by installation, programming, coding or causes external to the component itself are excluded from the warranty, unless applicable legislation provides otherwise.

If the buyer detects a possible lack of conformity during the warranty period, they must immediately notify DESGUACE CORTÉS and make the part available for inspection.

After examining the part, DESGUACE CORTÉS may, in accordance with current legislation, repair it, replace it with another part with identical specifications or, where this is not possible or would be disproportionate, refund the amount paid or provide an appropriate price reduction.

The warranty does not cover:

Removal or installation costs, or labour.

Damage resulting from incorrect installation.
Improper use of the spare part.
Failure to carry out maintenance required by the vehicle manufacturer.

Faults caused by components or factors external to the spare part itself.
Modifications or repairs carried out without the authorisation of DESGUACE CORTÉS.

RETURN CONDITIONS

For a return to be accepted, the following conditions must be met:

The product must be returned complete and in the same condition in which it was received.
The original packaging must be retained wherever possible.
The part must not have been installed or handled in a manner inconsistent with simply checking its specifications and operation.
It must be accompanied by the invoice or proof of purchase.

Shipping labels or adhesive tape that could damage the packaging must not be attached directly to it.

Once the product has been received at our premises and checked to confirm that it meets the above conditions, DESGUACE CORTÉS will, as appropriate, refund the amount paid using the same payment method used for the purchase, or send a replacement part.

In accordance with Article 18 of Royal Decree 782/1998, implementing Law 11/1997 on Packaging and Packaging Waste, the final holder is responsible for the proper environmental management of the packaging waste.
