1/18 Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk1 ABT 1982 white OTTOMOBILE OT1014. In 1896, a blacksmith named Johann Baptist Abt opened his own shop and founded his company. In 1950, his grandson ventured into motorsports. 17 years later, ABT Tuning was established by Johann Abt, with its first model being a modified Fiat 500 Abarth! Since then, projects have been abundant, and a large majority of ABT's creations are based on Audi and Volkswagen.

It is therefore not surprising to find a modified Golf 1 GTI by the German tuner! In addition to its very "racing" wide kit, the Golf 1 ABT is also distinguished by its 163 hp engine (50 more than the base version), which owes much to its KKK turbo borrowed from the Audi quattro.

This Youngtimer is offered to us by OTTOMOBILE in a limited edition of 2000 numbered copies. The model sold is brand new, and the photos were taken with another miniature.
