Rally cars are among the favorite automobiles of model builders, whether static or RC, and Tamiya certainly meets the expectations of the latter with this 1/10 RC replica of the Volkswagen Golf MK2. This car won the A7 category title in the 1986 World Championship.

The A7 category included cars with at least four seats, produced in more than 2,500 units over at least 12 months, and with an engine displacement between 1,600 and 2,000 cm3. 2 GTI was powered by a 1,781 cm3 4-cylinder inline 4-stroke gasoline engine producing 195 hp. 1/10 scale RC assembly model.

MF-01X 4WD chassis with rear-mounted motor, equally at home on tarmac or dirt thanks to its four-wheel independent suspension. Evolving chassis with many optional parts available. Polycarbonate body faithfully replicating the real Volkswagen Golf Mk.
